Transplant Living의 어린이를 위한 캠프.

Transplant Living에서는 어린이들을 위한 summer camp를 진행하고 있었다.
캠프는 어린이들에게 친구를 만들어주고, 여러 가지 행사와 프로그램에 참여할 수 있게 해줌으로써
어린이들의 정서함양(?)에 도움을 주고 있다.
이 캠프들은 병으로 고생하는 아이들이나 장기이식을 받은 아이들을 주대상으로 하는 것으로
물론 직접적으로 장기기증을 홍보하는 것과는 관계 없어 보일 수도 있다.

이 캠프에서 하는 활동들은 엄청난 것들이 아니다.
건강한 사람이라면 누구나 할 수 있는 평범한 것들이다. 수영, 카누타기, 등반, 공예 등....

이 캠프를 통해 수혜자인 어린이들이 건강한 정신을 함양할 수 있고, 신체를 튼튼하게 단련시킴으로써
수혜자의 가족들과, 주변 친구들에게 장기기증이 어린아이들을 비롯한 많은 사람들에게
장기기증이란 것이 내가 할 수 있는 평범한 것들을 그들도 누릴 수 있도록
기쁨과 즐거움을 줄 수 있다는 것을 보여줄 것이다.

-Camp Brave heart.
Offered to children and teens ages 7-18 years who are affected by heart disease and heart transplant recipients.
Activities include rock wall climbing, swimming, boating, ceramics, archery and arts arafts.


<Missouri>

- Camp ChiMer
Summer camp for children 9-16 years of age who are on dialysis or who have received a transplant.
Offers swimming, boating, other outdoor activities and crafts.

<Ohio>

- Miracles for Life Youth Camp.

Miracles for Life Youth Camp offers youth ages 7-17 with tissue or organ transplants
a weekend outdoor educational experience that will allow them to be a kid again while helping them build
strength, confidence, self-empowerment, network and life-long friendships.
